Zimbabwe and Zambia will co-host the 20th Session of the UNWTO General Assembly in the resort towns of Victoria Falls and Livingstone respectively.
Preliminary Visit by UNWTO
On the 27th of February 2012, the Permanent Secretary for Tourism and Hospitality Industry led a delegation of Government officials from various Ministries, Government Departments and the Private Sector to Victoria Falls for the 1st Preliminary Visit by UNWTO Inspectors. The UNWTO Inspectorate Team inspected facilities in Victoria Falls and Livingstone in order to assess the state of preparedness.
